BEST WISHES
Firstly I trust you all had a happy Xmas and wish all my readers a peaceful and happy New Year. No Xmas present list this year but it will return - beware !!!!!!!!

WELFARE
Glad to hear Ernie Hay is back short mat bowling after his operation. Best wishes to Mu Tookey who has not been too well of late. Please keep me advised if you hear of any members under the weather.

XMAS DINNER
Another excellent event organized by the Social Committee - 61 in attendance. Thanks to all the bar staff and raffle sellers and Bernice Webb for one again donating the contents for the hamper raffle. The raffles took a total of £266.

APOLOGY
Yes I know - in one small stroke I reduced the Denny Cup squad in half. It of course should have been 4 rinks (2 home and 2 away) and a total of 16 players. Unlike me Cyphers did not slip up and won the 5th round convincingly against Folkestone - they play Barking for a place in the semi-final in the New Year.
We again play Cyphers on the 10th January, this time a mixed game. All support welcolmed - 2-30 start.

A.G.M.
Congratulations to both Peter Jeffries (Club person of 2009) and Roger Cooley (made a Life Member). Both richly deserved and hopefully we will see more of Roger at the club next season.

WIN A SET OF WOODS
Your chance to win a set of Taylor's Woods (any colour and size) kindly donated by Bowlswear Direct and arranged by Norman Routledge. See club main notice board for details.
